We’re well into summer now, but don’t worry if you still haven’t got your fill of the seasonal goodness just yet: there’s still plenty of summer to enjoy! Bring your appetite!

Something called the “Red Deer Ribfest 2018” should need no introduction. You know what it’s going to be about: delicious ribs! Taking place at Rotary Recreation Park from August 17 - 19, it’ll feature tasty ribs and other BBQ foods. There’ll also be a craft beer garden, and a kids zone for the little ones.

To the farm

Head on over to the Jungle Farm on September 1 and you can attend the “Pumpkin Season Kick-Off” event. Pick your own right off the vine, and enjoy the family-friendly activities. On September 7, the farm will also host the “New Moon Maze” where you can navigate the maze during the darker new moon night.

Music in the outdoors

Finally, don’t forget to head down to Ross Street Patio in Downtown Red Deer for free live music in the outdoors. Concerts take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
