The end of summer doesn’t have to be sad, as fun as it was. Why? Because we’ll have all of autumn to look forward to! And there’s few better places to enjoy the season than Red Deer. If you’re visiting from the end of September and into October, you’ll have a host of events waiting to be enjoyed. Coming up we have movies in the outdoors, farm adventures, a chance to get your hands on products made by local artisans. All sounds good to us!

Movies in the outdoors

Any day spent at the Kraay Family Farm is a good day, but it’s even better when you’re attending when there’s an event on. Head down on September 28, and you’ll have the opportunity to do just that. Their ‘Outdoor Movie Night’ will be taking place during the evening. Grab a few chairs, blankets, and the family, and head down for a unique film viewing experience.

And from one farm to another! On September 29, the Family Fall Festival will be taking place at The Jungle Farm. There’s going to be a whole day of family-related fun, including scarecrow building! A great opportunity to spend a fresh day in the outdoors.
