All about strawberries

A festival that’s all about strawberries? Sign us up! The popular ‘Strawberry Festival’ will be returning to Red Deer’s Jungle Farm on July 21. Head down and listen to music, take a wagon ride, learn how to make your own jam, and, of course, get a taste of those delicious strawberries!

Artists and street acts

Head down to the Centrefest Street Performer Festival in downtown Red Deer and catch the talents of street performers, artists, and more as they delight the crowds. Taking place July 27 - 29, it’ll feature performances, workshops, and more.

Classic Shakespeare plays

Love Shakespeare? Then don’t miss the 7th season of ‘Bard on the Bower,’ which features performances of Romeo and Juliet on the shores of Bower Ponds. A great way to sample the culture of Red Deer.

Summer cruisin’

From July 30 - August 5, catch hot rods and classic cars from down the years at Rock’N Red Deer, which will be taking place in downtown Red Deer.

Make sure you and your family are staying at the best hotel in Red Deer during your visit to the city. At the Days Inn Red Deer, you’ll be able to enjoy amenities that include an indoor pool and hot tub, complimentary daybreak breakfast, and a fitness centre.
