Fun for Everyone 

Discovery Canyon is a local favorite hotspot thanks to its beautiful scenery and fun water sports. The canyon is located in the River Bend Golf and Recreation Area and features a natural river-fed water pool, playground area, concession, and washrooms. The natural slide is perfect for tubing - either bring your own or rent from the concession. The bottom of the slide features a lagoon with perfect temperatures for a hot summer day. 

A Rare Find 

Discovery Canyon is a unique experience that you probably won't find in many places! The natural slide and pools are a beautiful escape into nature and all it beholds. It should be mentioned that there is no lifeguard on duty, so caution should be taken. Hours of operation are Monday-Sunday 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Discovery Canyon is located at 3800 River Bend Drive, Red Deer. Admission is free although tubes are available for rent.
