Crocky Rocky Prairie Fairy: Prints and Drawings by Jim Westergard | Ends January 31

Back in October, the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery launched an exhibit celebrating the work of beloved local artist Jim Westergard. Since its opening day, the exhibit has been immensely popular. Unfortunately, however, it will soon enter its final month, as its set to wrap up on January 31^st. That means that, for visiting art enthusiasts, the time to check out the gallery’s Jim Westergard showcase is now! Find his fantastic works on display just a short distance from our cozy hotel.
 

2016 Whisky Festival | January 12

For fans of whisky, in all of its forms, the time to visit Red Deer is January 12, when the city’s annual Whisky Festival makes its triumphant return. The event, which is hosted by the Red Deer Golf and Country Club, will provide attendees with opportunities to learn about the drink from dozens of knowledgeable professionals—and of course, sample it! Red Deer’s Got Talent | January 16
