It’s never too early to begin your festive shopping! Indeed, the earlier you start, the less stress you have. But of course, it’s only worth shopping early if you’re buying the right gifts. At the Winter Holiday Craft Show and Market, you can find unique artisan crafts. There will surely be something for everyone in your family, and perhaps something for you too! Takes place November 16.  

Food and wine

Doesn’t a five-course dinner with wine pairing sound just lovely? You bet it does. On November 23, you’ll be able to enjoy a wonderful evening of food and wine at the Alberta Springs Golf Course. Book early, and make your trip extra special. Just make sure you have a comfortable place to sleep afterward, you will be sure to overindulge.

Movie night

Sometimes, when there’s a chill in the air, all you want to do is stay indoors and watch a movie. On November 18, head down to the Red Deer Museum and enjoy a screening of the thriller ‘Official Secrets', starring Keira Knightley. You'll forget about the winter chill once you're captivated by great cinema.
